DECLARATION of CONFLICTS

Guideline
Integrity and conflicts of interest – The Netherlands Organisation for Health Research and Development
To stipulate how to determine inappropriate involvement in the assessment procedure ordecision-making processes, and what to do if there is a risk of it happening.
The Netherlands Organisation for Health and Development (ZonMw) ensures that its decision-making process is objective through enforcing a code of conduct for managing personal interests. Through applying the code, the organization can ensure that parties applying for grants are able to trust that decisions have been made impartially. Likewise, committee members and referees who are contributing to the decision making process can be assured that the assessment process has been organized in a way that guarantees integrity.
