DECLARATION of CONFLICTS

Code for Dealing with Personal Interests – Dutch Research Council
To ensure that no one involved in the grant application decision-making process allows any personal interests they may have to influence the task they are performing for the Dutch Council.
The ‘Code of Conduct in Respect of Personal Interests’ (the Code), which applies to decision-making bodies, employees, referees, jury and committee members, describes how to manage personal interests in the process of advising on, and making decisions about, the distribution of resources (hereafter called “the process”). The Code also states how decisions about conduct in respect of personal interests should be explained and recorded, ensuring that the Dutch Research Council and The Netherlands Organisation for Health Research and Development are able to account for their actions at all times.
